M.U.S.E. has instrumental programs in over 45 school in both the Portland and San Francisco bay area. We primarily offer Band Classes but we also offer keyboard, string, and recorder classes in some areas. There is no cost to the school; payments are made directly to M.U.S.E. by parents of each student. M.U.S.E. takes care of all business and administrative matters. The cost of taking lessons from M.U.S.E. is about half the cost of private lessons and a great way to get started on an instrument. Our instructors are highly trained and complete background checks are made on all teachers. M.U.S.E. carries the proper liability insurance necessary.

M.U.S.E. Will Provide:
1. Instrumental group lessons, offered once a week; beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.
2. Band rehearsals
3. Winter and Spring M.U.S.E. concerts and individual school performances.
4. Monthly, merit based awards
5. Written evaluations
6. Year end presentation of awards

All our programs are tailored to each schools needs. Prices for programs range from $44.00-$48.00 per month/per student depending on the custom arrangement for each school. A limited amount of financial aide is available through M.U.S.E.

Networking In Your Community
Each individual school is strengthened by our network of M.U.S.E. schools in your area. For example, our annual spring concert includes students from all of the local schools in the M.U.S.E. Program performing together, as one large ensemble. This event gives the students from different schools an opportunity to meet and perform together.
In addition to the services provided, the M.U.S.E Program participates in local community events, which include band and art festivals, parades, and special holiday events. We also sponsor The M.U.S.E. Annual Solo and Ensemble Festival which is open to all students in the program.

Grade Level: The band program is offered to grades 4-8.

The M.U.S.E. Band Program Offers Instruction in the Following Instruments:
